GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Payment is possible exclusively by bank card. Registration becomes valid only upon settlement of the fee.
In the event of an unsuccessful bank card payment, we will issue a pro forma invoice, on the basis of which the outstanding amount can be settled.
By confirming the registration, a contract is concluded between the Customer and the Service Provider, under which the Service Provider undertakes to provide the confirmed services, and the Customer undertakes to financially settle the consideration for the services in the manner and by the deadline indicated in the confirmation received.
In the case of selecting a registration category with MFE membership, participants undertake to immediately settle any outstanding membership fee owed to the Association.
Please note that MFE membership will be verified, and in the event of failure to pay the membership fee, the registration fee will be adjusted to the non-member category, and a pro forma invoice will be issued for the difference.
In the case of payment by bank card, within 5 working days following the date of payment, we will issue an ADVANCE invoice in electronic invoice form from the email address regio10@kulcstavszamla.hu.
The electronic invoice will be issued using the billing details provided during registration and sent to the contact email address specified there.
Following payment by bank card / payment against a pro forma invoice / bank transfer, based on the bank statement and with reference to the pro forma invoice number, we will issue an ADVANCE invoice with the VAT rates of 5% and 27% indicated on the pro forma invoice, marked as ADVANCE.
Pursuant to Section 17 of Act LXXIV of 1992 on Value Added Tax:
- If, prior to the completion of the supply of goods or provision of services, an amount of money creditable against the consideration is paid (hereinafter: advance), the date of receipt (crediting) of the amount may be considered the date of performance.
- The amount received (credited) pursuant to paragraph (1) shall be considered to include the amount of tax.
Based on the above, the invoice for the advance payment may only be issued after receipt of the amount, as only then does the date of performance become known.
The final invoice will be issued after the event, using the advance invoice. The performance date of the final invoice is the last day of the event.
In the case of transfers from abroad, foreign bank charges are borne by the transferring party. If bank charges are deducted from the transferred amount, they will be indicated as payable on the final invoice.
Please submit any individual billing-related requests or requirements exclusively in writing, either at the time of registration or no later than before payment/transfer, to info@regio10.hu. We are unable to accept billing requests by phone or other verbal means; only requests submitted by email will be accepted.
Issued invoices may be cancelled and reissued only for formal reasons, subject to payment of an administrative fee of HUF 5,000 + VAT.
Invoice cancellation and reissuance free of charge are only possible in cases where the invoice was issued due to an administrative error by “RÉGIÓ-10” Ltd.
On the new invoice, the payment deadline is 8 days from the date of issue.
PAYMENT DEADLINE
Payment is possible exclusively by bank card. Please note that if the amount is not settled at the end of the registration process, the registration cannot be considered official.
In case of unsuccessful payment: In the case of bank transfer, the participation fee and ordered service(s) must be paid by the payment deadline (Due Date) indicated on the pro forma invoice sent following the application, to the bank account specified therein.
CANCELLATION AND MODIFICATION TERMS
Cancellation of the registration and/or ordered service(s) must in all cases be submitted in writing to “RÉGIÓ-10” Ltd. at info@regio10.hu. We are unable to accept cancellations by phone or other verbal means, and failure to settle the pro forma invoice does not constitute cancellation; therefore, please always communicate your intention to cancel in writing. In the case of cancellation by post, the date of cancellation will be accepted based on the mailing date of the postal item.
Refund of paid fees is possible in the following cases:
Accommodation: Free modification and penalty-free cancellation of accommodation is possible until the dates listed below. In the event of cancellation after the deadline, the accommodation cost will not be refunded by the hotel, and the full value of the ordered service must be paid.
- Riva Hotel: April 1, 2026
- Auris Hotel: April 1, 2026
- Novotel Szeged: March 16, 2026
Registration: The deadline for free modification and cancellation of registration and services included in the participation fee is April 30, 2026. In the event of cancellation after the deadline, the full value of the services included in the participation fee (coffee breaks and/or dinner) must be paid.
Social programs: The deadline for free modification and cancellation of social programs (lunch, gala dinner) is April 30, 2026. In the event of cancellation after the deadline, the full value of the ordered services must be paid.
Transfer of registration and accommodation: In the event of cancellations after the deadline, registration and accommodation may be transferred. The name change must be submitted in writing to the organizing office by completing a new application form no later than May 1, 2026.
In the case of cancellations before the penalty-free cancellation deadline, refunds of amounts already paid, as well as refunds due to incorrect or duplicate transfers, will be processed within 30 days after the event concludes. Refunds can only be made to the bank account of the paying individual or company.
No-show (absence without cancellation):
The organizers make every effort to ensure the successful organization of the congress. Please note that after the specified deadlines, the organizers can no longer modify orders for services, printed materials, accommodation, and catering required for the event. Therefore, the organizers cannot waive payment for ordered but unused meals or participation fees that were not cancelled. After the event, the invoice will be issued using the billing details provided during registration and sent to the specified contact email address.
Participation in social programs:
Please note that participation in lectures, the exhibition, and catering (coffee breaks, lunches, and gala dinner) is accessed via the QR code on the name badge; therefore, please wear your name badge at all times.
Registration categories and fees:
Early bird discounted registration prices are valid until March 15, 12:00 PM. After the deadline, full prices apply.

The value of the coffee breaks and sandwich lunch will be indicated on the invoice as catering provided as an intermediary service. The catering content of the participation fee is gross HUF 20,000.

The participation fee includes VAT (27%) as defined by applicable law, participation in the two-day conference lectures, the program booklet, access to the professional exhibition, the conference package, and coffee breaks. The value of coffee breaks is gross HUF 20,000 and will be indicated in the remarks section at the bottom of the invoice.
Accompanying person:
Accompanying person registration is required if the accompanying person shares accommodation with the conference participant and/or wishes to attend the gala dinner, but it does not entitle them to participate in the scientific program. Please note that the cancellation and modification conditions are the same as those applicable to conference participants.
