Paula Villa


Dr. Paula Villa is a Colombian endodontist graduated from CES university in Medellin, Colombia, 2001. In 2004, Dr. Villa started working as a professor at University of Antioquia, where she co-founded the graduate program of endodontics and has contributed to several research projects ever since.


She has also authored scientific articles for peer-reviewed journals and chapters in different books.

Being a well-known leader in the field of endodontic microsurgery, Dr.Villa has already trained many clinicians from around the world. Recently, she has introduced computer-guided microsurgical procedures to her practice, gaining a lot of experience in this field, too.


Dr. Villa is also the former president of the Colombian Association of Endodontics , and she has her private practice  limited to endodontics and endodontic microsurgery located in Medellin, Colombia.

Dr. Miguel Stanley is a private practitioner and a passionate advocate for ethics and quality dentistry with a focus on biological and functional full mouth rehabilitation. He is the founder and clinical director of the globally renowned White Clinic, a Leading Dental Center of the World for over 20 years with a large team of highly skilled doctors, and co-founder of the Slow Dentistry Global Network®, a Swiss nonprofit organization. He is the Vice President of the Digital Dentistry Society, as well as a member of many international scientific and academic organizations and has published several studies and articles over the years. He is a consultant and Key Opinion Leader for leading dental tech companies and holds a license to practice in the UK and Dubai, besides Portugal. Dr. Stanley is an adjunct professor at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dentistry and has lectured extensively in over 50 countries on many fields of modern dentistry, from cosmetic dentistry to complex oral surgery, practice management and ethics to his “No Half Smiles®” treatment philosophy. He is also one of the first dentists to ever give a TEDx talk and host a documentary on dentistry for National Geographic. Professor Dr. Mariano Sanz earned his medical degree at the University Complutense of Madrid in 1981. Following that, he specialized in stomatology in 1983 and earned a PhD in medicine in 1985.  In 1988, he moved to the USA (UCLA) to specialize in periodontology and returned to UCM to become Professor of Periodontology in 1989. Since then, he has held the positions of Chairman of Periodontology, Director of the ETEP (etiology and therapy of periodontal and peri-implant diseases) Research Group and chairman of postgraduate periodontology. He is also professor II (visiting professor) at the University of Oslo. He has received four honorary doctorate degrees from the Universities of Goteborg (Sweden), Coimbra (Portugal), San Sebastian (Santiago de Chile) and Buenos Aires (Argentina).  He is the past Dean of UCM, past President of the Spanish Society of Periodontology, the European Federation of Periodontology and the European Division of the IADR. He has published more than 350 scientific publications and he is an international lecturer in topics related to Periodontology, Implant Dentistry and Dental Education.

Markus Huerzeler

Markus B. Hürzeler received his D.M.D. degree in 1984 from the University of Zürich, his certificate as specialist in Periodontics from the Swiss Society of Periodontology in 1989, the certificate in Prosthodontics from the German Society of Prosthodontics in 1991. Then, he spent two years at the University of Houston, Texas, Dental Branch as a Visiting Associate Professor on the Department of Periodontology from 1991-1993. After returning to Freiburg, Germany he obtained in 1996 the Docent (PhD) degree from the Department of Prosthodontics at Albert-Ludwigs University in Freiburg Germany. He then moved to Munich, Germany, where he has been working ever since in private practice together with his partner Dr. Zuhr limiting his activity to periodontics and implant therapy. In 2002 he became Professor of Dentistry from the Medical Department of Albert-Ludwigs University in Freiburg Germany. In 2008, he founded the Huerzeler/Zuhr Education Center with his partner Dr. Zuhr in which they teach their concepts and philosophy in today’s dentistry. Since 1993 he is Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Texas, in Houston and since 1997, he is an Associate Professor at Albert-Ludwigs University in Freiburg Germany, Department of Preventive Dentistry and Periodontology.
He is an active member of the European Academy of Esthetic Dentistry (EAED). Dr. Hürzeler has produced more than 150 scientific publications within the field of implants, periodontology, and tissue regeneration and he lectures and gives courses regulary, both nationally and internationally, on topics related to periodontics and implant therapy. In 2012 he published with his partner Dr. Zuhr the worldwide known book: Plastic-Esthetic Periodontal and Implant Surgery – A Microsurgical Approach.

Dr. Ashwini Bhalerao earned her bachelor’s degree in dental surgery at Nair Hospital Dental College, Mumbai, India in 1991 and went on to earn a master’s degree in dental, oral and maxillofacial surgery at the same college in 1993. She completed both her degree programs with honors. In 2002, she earned a degree in medico-legal systems, and in 2020, she received the The Diploma of Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery (MFDS) of The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. At the moment, she is pursuing a PhD in collaboration with University of Glasgow and Saveeta Dental Sciences on the versatility of dynamic navigation in flapless placement of zygomatic implants. In 2013, she was awarded the National Award for the Oral Surgeon of the Year (FAMDENT Excellence in Dentistry Awards), she was a TEDx speaker, and currently she is the Ambassador of the American Academy of Oral Surgery and the Digital Dentistry Society. As an educator, Dr. Bhalerao is responsible for three CME courses in oral surgery and implantology in India.  

Dr. Bhalerao started her oral and maxillofacial surgical practice in Mumbai in 1995, and in 1997, she started to deliver comprehensive implantological services. She was among the first clinicians in Mumbai to provide complex grafting procedures for complete oral rehabilitation and pioneered the introduction of modern approaches such as block bone augmentation, zygoma implants and PRF (platelet-rich fibrin) in implant surgery. Dr. Bhalerao is also an inventor: she designed various surgical instruments which are being patented at the moment.  

Dr. Andrea Mastrorosa Agnini graduated in 2007 from the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia. 

Dr Agnini works in private practice in Modena and Sassuolo, Emilia Romagna, Italy, following his brother, Alessandro, focusing on Fixed Prosthetic Dentistry, Periodontology, and Implant Dentistry. 

He attended the NYU College of Dentistry in the years 2009 – 2011 having, among others, as teachers and mentors Dr. Dennis Tarnow, Dr. Christian Stappert, Dr. Stephen Chu and Dr. Michael Bral. He has been the Clinical Research Fellow of the Ashman Department of Periodontology and Implant Dentistry at NYU, under the supervision of Dr. Sang Choon Cho. He is co-author of various Italian and international scientific publications and international lecturer.

He is part, since 2008, of the scientific committee of the annual programs in Prosthetic Dentistry, Periodontology and Implant Dentistry based at Studio Agnini Odontoiatria. Since 2011, he is a lecturer of the Dental Xp Website, being also part of the Editorial Board. Author of the book “Digital Dental Revolution: The Learning Curve” edited by Quintessence.

Dr. Alessandro Agnini graduated in 1989 from the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, Italy. 

He has private dental practices in Modena and Sassuolo, Emilia Romagna, where he dedicates only to Fixed Prosthetic Dentistry, Periodontology and implant Dentistry. 

He attended the “Fixed Prosthetic“ program of studies with  Dr. Gianfranco Di Febo in the two years 1991 – 1993 and the Periodontology program of studies with Dr. Gianfranco  Carnevale in the two years 1993 – 1995. In 1995 he attended the One Year Program in Implant Dentistry with Dr. Mauro Merli.

Since 2006 he is an active member of the Italian Academy of Prosthetic Dentistry. 

He has been an adjunct Professor at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, Italy, for the teaching of Fixed Prosthetic Dentistry and Implant Prosthetic Dentistry in 2013 and 2014.

He is author and co-author of Italian and international scientific publications and lectures both in Italy and worldwide. Since 2011, he has been a lecturer of the Dental Xp Website, serving also on the Editorial Board. He is author of the book “The Digital Revolution: the learning curve” published by Quintessence in 2014. Since 2019, he has served on the directory board of the Italian Academy of Prosthetic Dentistry. He was appointed as an Active Member of the Italian Academy of Osseointegration and the Italian Academy of Esthetic Dentistry in 2019. 

Dr. Ashwini Bhalerao 1991-ben szerzett bachelor’s fokozatot dentoalveolaris sebészetből Indiában, a mumbai Nair Hospital Dental College-ben, ezt 1993-ban az oralis és maxillofacialis sebészet mesterfokozat követte. Mindkét fokozatot dícsérettel nyerte el. 2002-ben törvényszéki orvostudományi képesítést szerzett, 2020- ban pedig felvételt nyert a The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh-ba. Jelenleg PhD-fokozata megszerzésén dolgozik, a University of Glasgow-val és a Saveeta Dental Sciences-zel együttműködésben. Témája a zygoma-implantátumok dinamikusan navigált beültetése. 2013-ban elnyerte az év szájsebészének járó díjat (FAMDENT Excellence in Dentistry Awards), volt TEDx előadó, jelenleg pedig az American Academy of Oral Surgery és a Digital Dentistry Society nagykövete. Oktatóként hazájában, Indiában, három szájsebészeti és implantológiai orvostovábbképző kurzus felelőse.

Saját oralis és maxillofacialis sebészeti praxisát 1995-ben kezdte meg Mumbaiban, 1997-pedig a praxis profilja átfogó implantológiai szolgáltatással bővült ki. Az első orvosok között volt, akik Mumbaiban teljes szájrehabilitáció céljára complex csontpótlással járó eljárásokat alkalmazott, de úttörője volt olyan korszerű eljárások meghonosításának is, mint a csontblokkal végzett augmentáció, a zygoma-implantátumok vagy a PRF (platelet-rich fibrin). Dr. Bhalerao többféle sebészi eszközt is tervezett, amelyek jelenleg szabadalmaztatás alatt állnak.

Hürzeler 1984-ben szerzett fogorvosdoktori oklevelet a Zürichi Egyetemen, amelyet a Svájci Parodontológiai Társaságnál 1989-ben megszerzett parodontológiai, majd a Német Fogpótlástani Társaságnál 1991-ben megszerzett fogpótlástani szakképesítés követett. 1991 és 1993 között a University of Houston (Texas) Dental Branch vendégoktatója volt, itt azóta is oktató. Németországba visszatérve 1996-ban szerzett PhD fokozatot fogpótlástanból a freiburgi Albert-Ludwigs Universität fogpótlástani tanszékén. Ezt követően költözött Münchenbe, ahol partnerével, Dr. Zuhrral azóta is parodontológiai-implantológiai fókuszú praxist folytat. 1997- től az Albert-Ludwigs Universität Megelőző Fogorvostani és Parodontológiai Tanszékének docense. 2002- ben a freiburgi Albert-Ludwigs Universität a fogorvostan professzorává nevezte ki. 2008-ban Dr.Zuhrral közösen alapította meg a Hürzeler/Zuhr Education Centert, ahol saját eljárásaikat és megközelítéseiket oktatják. 

Az European Academy of Esthetic Dentistry (EAED) aktív tagja. Dr. Hürzeler több implantológia, parodontológia és szöveti regeneráció témakörben több, mint 150 tudományos közleménnyel rendelkezik, ezen felül Németországban és a világ más országaiban is rendszeresen tart előadásokat parodontológia és implantációs terápia témakörökben. 2012-ben Dr. Zuhrral közösen jelentették meg mára már világszerte ismert, Plastic-Esthetic Periodontal and Implant Surgery – A Microsurgical Approach című könyvüket.  

 

Prof. Dr. Jaafar Mouhyi 1990-ben, a Free Université Libre de Bruxelles- en szerzett fogorvosdoktori oklevelet. A parodontológiai mesterképzést 1994-ben végezte el, ezt követően anyaintézményében PhD- tanulmányokba kezdett egy, a Göteborgi Egyetemmel közös nemzetközi programban. Doktori fokozatát 1999- ben nyerte el. 

A Casablanca Oral Rehabilitation Training & Education Center (Marokkó) igazgatója és tanszékvezető professzor az International University of Agadir (Universialpolis) Bioanyag-kutatási Tanszékén. 

Jelenleg a Digital Dentistry Society (DDS) elnöke, a németországi Clean Implant Foundation tudományos bizottsági tagja, a SENAME (South Europe, North Africa, Middle East Implantology and Modern Dentistry Association) nemzetközi bizottsági tagja és Dental XP expert.   

Mouhyi professzor a Clinical Implant Dentistry & Related Research, a Journal of Dentistry és az African Dental Journal szerkesztőbizottsági tagja és bírálója. 

Dr. Miguel Stanley privát praxisban tevékenykedő fogorvosként elkötelezett híve az etikus és minőségi fogorvoslásnak, munkája fókuszában pedig a biológiai megközelítésű teljes szájrehabilitáció áll. Paula Villa

 

Dr. Paula Villa kolumbiai fogorvos-endodontus, aki fogorvosi oklevelét Kolumbiában, a medellíni Universidas CES- en szerezte 2001-ben. 2004-től kezdve az Universidad de Antioquia (Medellín, Kolumbia) oktatója, ahol részt vett az endodonciai szakképzési program megalapításában és több kutatási projektben is aktív részt vállalt. Emellett tudományos közlemények és könyvfejezetek szerzője.

Az endodonciai mikrosebészet vezető alakjaként Dr. Villa világszerte számos klinikus képzésében vett részt. Az utóbbi években paraxisában egyre nagyobb szerepet kapott a computer-asszisztált, navigált mikrosebészet is, amelyben mostanra jelentős tapasztalatot szerzett.

Dr. Villa korábban a Kolumbiai Endodonciai Társaság elnöki posztját is betöltötte.

 

Jelenleg a kolumbiai Medellínben, magánpraxisban dolgozik. Praxisának fókuszában az endodoncia és az endodonciai mikrosebészet áll.

Korábban betöltötte a Spanyol Parodontológiai Társaság, a European Federation of Periodontology, valamint az IADR Európai Divíziójának elnöki posztját is. Több, mint 350 tudományos közlemény szerzője, aki a világ számos országában ad elő parodontológia, implantológia és fogorvosképzés témakörökben.

Sam Omar, BDS

 

 

 

Dr. Sam Omar fogorvos, implantológus és díjazott nemzetközi előadó, aki elhivatott a digitális fogorvoslás az implantológia ügye iránt. Fogorvosi oklevelét 2014- ben, Egyiptomban, a Sinai Universityn szerezte. Azóta Egyiptomban és az Egyesült Államokban is dolgozott általános fogorvosként és implantológusként. 2021 januárjában Gizában elindította saját praxisát Oneday Clinic néven, jelenleg itt folytat általános fogorvosi és implantológiai tevékenységet. Ezen felül a ONEDAY ACADEMY for digital dentistry education vezetője, R2GATE és Digital Oral Design (DOD) oktató, valamint az R2Center fejlesztési és oktatási teamjének tagja. Világszerte számtalan kurzust és előadást tartott. 2021- ben a Digital Dentistry Society világkongresszusán elnyerte a legjobb előadónak járó díjat.
